New data was recently released showing the foreclosure rate in the Louisville-Southern Indiana area increased in April from a year earlier, according to real estate data firm CoreLogic. Of all outstanding mortgage loans in the 13-county area, 2.87 percent were in some stage of foreclosure, up from 2.27 percent in April 2010.
